The colour of the wine is straw to golden; the aroma is striking, formed by tones of candied fruit, vanilla and yellow garden fruit. The taste is creamy, with typical Burgundy breadness and a soft touch of oak. The wine goes well with full-flavoured pork and thick sauces.

WINE PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY
The wine was produced using eco-friendly wine-making methods. Pressing was performed after a 3-hour cold maceration on skins; the sharply filtrated must was inoculated with a pure wine yeast culture and fermented at a temperature of 16 °C (60.8 °F). The alcohol fermentation was followed by twenty-four months of sur lie aging, complemented by malolactic fermentation and regular stirring. Afterwards the wine was harmonized in a large raw oak barrel.
