Merlot

Old, late cider red variety, whose exact origin is unknown crossing. Originated from France, its genetic origin shows the crossing with Cabernet. It is globally widespread throughout the world, the largest area is located in France.

Characteristics of the wine:

The wine is full-bodied, excellent quality and taste, dark color. Merlot is somewhat softer, rounder and especially rich in tannins than Cabernet Sauvignon. Good Merlot is marked by aromas and flavors of red fruit (usually cherries, sometimes red currant).
